Yesterday we had Natalie baptized. It was a great day. Emma sat still during mass, everyone showed up on time, and i was just very happy to share the day with my friends and family. Oh yeah and Natalie's godmother went into labor!!!!!! How could i forget to mention THAT! Serously though she has been having problems with pre-term labor for a while now so we knew it was a possiblity that she would have the baby early, but i never thought she would actually go into labor AT the baptism and have to leave the after party in a hurry to go to the HOSPITAL to GIVE BIRTH!!!!
Can you tell i'm still in denial that it actually happened that way!!
The good news is that she hasn't had the baby yet! Not so good for her to be having back pain related to labor this long, but good news for the baby who isn't quite 34 weeks yet. So here is hoping she has a nice long hospital stay ahead of her (sorry Danielle) so that baby (sex unknown) can come out healthy and skip a long stay at the NICU.
i'll post some pictures later when i have time to re-size them! Thanks for reading.

Omg I'm FAT.....and candy is stalking me!!
Well i'm not really Fat (there are people out there who weigh way more than me) but i was shocked to find out that i have actually gained weight since having Natalie. Serously i came home and cried about it.
So i have been tyring to stay away from candy and sweets.....easier said that done. Today i went to the hairdresses.....you would think this would be a candy free zone, but noooooooooooo she had halloween goodie bags that she was giving out, and of course Emma wants one, and of course i end up eating some of it (i did good though only had one piece of taffy). Next onto my parents store, again i did good and didn't get any junk food their either! Then after making a quic stop at my parents house to eat lunch is was up north to visit my inlaws and get Jeremy's hair cut. This is where i CAVED big time because i was STARVING and they were taking way to long on deciding where to go to dinner! I also should mention that my inlaws ALWAYS havr junk food, and bakes goodies, and candy jars all over the place....i partly blaim them for all my weight gain with my first pregnancy because we were going up there alot and she was always feeding me cookies (because i'm weak and can't say no).
So today's conclusion is that i'm weak and need to stay away from all places that have candy.....especally my inlaws!!!

i sold a house!
Today was my first closing ever! I was soo excited i cold hardly contain myself i was trying to be professional but inside i was shouting YIPPPPPPPPPEEEEEEEEE!!!!! I can also add a lawyers office to the list of places i have NIP(nursed in public).
My feet are killing me though because i had to dress in buisness attire (i wore a maternity outfit that makes me look pregnant) and i am NOT use to wearing heals at all. It's been a good 6 months since i wore a pair of heals and my poor feet are paying the price now, but hey i looked good andi guess that's the price we pay for beauty!

I am never going shopping again!
Ok so i don't even know why i thought when i woke up this morning that pant shopping was going to go well, because it never does! Today was no exception to the rule....but i really NEEDED to find a pair of pants today because i have a closing tomorrow that i have to dress in business clothing for and my pre-pregnancy pants are no where close to fitting me so a trip to the mall was in my future.
So after a family event it was time to hit the mall....with my mother in tow for support. First stop was a juniors store <-----hahaha what the hell was i thinking??? I actually bought alot of my pants at this particular juniors store but until i am back down to my pre-pregnancy weight i think i'll just be window shopping there! Seriously though it's not a good way to start the shopping day when you have to leave a store because their biggest size is too small. Next we were on to JC Penney's where we picked out a million pairs of pants (i kid you not i literally tried on a million pairs of pants.....or so it seemed), tried them on, and the ones that did fit me in the waist came way to far over the belly button. I am only 25 years old, i am too young to be wearing "MOM JEANS" (sorry mom but they are not for me) and not to mention when they come that high in the waist they make my baby pooch seem even bigger than it actually is. So we left JC Penney's and it was on to Macy's.....well after having some serous sticker shock (do people really pay $65 for a pair of pants?) we found some pants, tried them on, and again too high in the waist. So at this point i am starting to tear up, and my husband suggests trying some of the pants from American Eagle (where he works part time and gets a pretty good discount) so it's off to AE we go.....he goes in ahead of me and grabs every pair of non jean pants they have in an 8/10/12 and puts me in the fitting room.....yeah THAT was a total bust.....and this point i'm crying i'm soo upset, so i left the mall empty handed....i have nothing to wear for the closing tomorrow (i seriously have no clue what i'm gonna wear) and i am now googling plastic surgeons because i can not look like this forever!
I also forgot to mention that my husband and i did make a quick trip to Kohl's in the afternoon and i would like to tell everyone that they are soooo disorganized it was impossible to find what i was looking for, made me even more frustrated that i already am with my size, and i will never try to buy pants there ever again (or at least not for a long while)!
If anyone in Syracuse NY is reading this, knows how to operate a sewing machine and wants to make a frustrated mom some comfy business work pants PLEASE e-mail me.....i would be forever grateful!

Let me introduce myself!
Hi Everyone and welcome to my blog! I love reading other's blogs so i thought i would throw my own adventures in mommyhood into the mix. I'll start off by introducing myself.....My Name is Erika and i'm almost 26 years old. I have 2 adorable daughters, Emma is 2 1/2 and Natalie is 3 months old. I also can't forget my big kid, also known as my husband, Jeremy and he is almost 27 years old.
My husband is an Engineer and i am a Realtor with Coldwell Banker. I have been working outside the home for the last year, but before that i stayed at home with my oldest daughter full time and also finished up my bachelor's degree. So i know some of you are wondering why i spent 4 (actually 5) years going to college to get a degree to turn around and become a real estate agent? Well i'll tell you why, because i LOVE houses. I love looking at houses, i loved buying my home, and now i get to help others buy and sell their houses....and i get paid for it! What more could a mom ask for?! Oh yeah i also love that i get to set my own hours, and work mostly from home, and can drop almost everything and be available for my kids if need be, sounds like the perfect job right? Now before you go and quit your job to be a realtor let me remind you of my husband Jeremy, the engineer, he funds my real estate career! It's not cheap to be a realtor and lets face it the housing market isn't as booming as it use to be....so if you can't afford to go a year without a paycheck then i suggest you stick with your day
job!
Let's see what other interesting information can i share with you all....ummm i like to scrapbook in my spare time, i was a cheerleader in high school and college, i figure skated for a good 10 years or so before a car accident took me out of the sport for good, I'm addicted to shopping at gymboree and my newest addiction is buying cloth diapers for my girls. That's right i wasn't busy enough so i decided to put my kids in cloth! It's really not that bad though because the washer does most the work all i have to do is dump the dirty diapers in the wash, turn it on, add a tiny bit of soap and walk away!
I'll end my blog with some pictures of my family, so everyone can see first hand the people who inspire me and make my life complete!
